From 1st September 2013 there will be a change to the law regarding school attendance.
The amendments to to the Education Regualtions 2006 make it clear that Head Teachers may not authorise any holidays during termtime. In line with these changes schools within the Cluster will not authorise any term time holiday for any child of any age.
If you continue to take a holiday this will be classed as unauthorised absence and the local authority may take action against you which could include a fixed pentaly. Changes have been made to penalty notices as outlined below.
